Keeping up with positivity

How do you be positive all the time? It’s hard for me to do that.  This was a question that I get asked a lot. Now let me tell you a secret - it was never easy I developed it slowly.. over the years of growing through experience (both good and bad ones). The key is : Try your best to not let negativity consume you. Believe that for everything that happened.. it has its own hidden wisdoms behind it. Patience will make you tougher and wiser. Do not hold onto something too long, free your mind.. let go if you must, and let God handle the rest. Overcome your inferiority complex by believing in yourself more. Train yourself to see the good in everything, surround yourself with good friends and make sure you have a great support system. Stay close to them, and make sure they stay close to you. This was how I do it 😊

How to move on from someone?

Letting go of someone you love, either romantically or platonically.. is one of the most difficult parts of life. Trying to mitigate with the pain every time you’re reminded of them is hard, I know. But remember that it’s a process, not a destination. You have to be patient, and the only way around it is through it. Reconnect with ppl who care for you will start to add meaning back into your life. Distance yourself, both physically and emotionally. Give yourself time to grieve, but do not take too long. We can’t control everything that happened in our lives, don’t we? Acceptance is key. Maybe it’s just not meant to be. Some of us think that holding on makes us strong, but sometimes.. it is letting go.

Life as a medical student, is it tough?

Whenever I came across this kind of question, the first thought that comes to my mind first would be.. If it was easy, everyone would do it.  Being a medical student will involve working harder than you've ever worked in your life - but chances are, it will also involve having more fun than you've ever had before. Many might have thought that being in this field, it is rather stressful and tiring but in reality its really enjoyable, interesting and highly rewarding (for me), especially in light of what I'm working towards right now - my goals. This is my 3rd year in medical school, and alhamdulillah (praise to Allah) I'm just so grateful.. that despite of all kinds of challenges and struggles I've faced along the way.. Allah has made it easy for me, and I've managed to get through it (so far). Now.. Studying medicine comes with a certain expectation to work harder on average. Its taking up a great deal of time : lecture notes that ne...

2019 resolutions

So.. suddenly its already 2019. Time flies by quite fast, don't you think? Every new year, I'm sure every one has their own wishes and resolutions - me too, just like everyone else. This year, I hope.. I wish.. and I pray.. 1. To be stronger, much much stronger than the previous years - bcs I know life wouldn't get any easier as you grow older. I hope I can be more resilient in facing every shortcomings of life. 2. To be more matured - in every way of life. Especially in decision-making, and also in my actions. 3. To stay silent, if I have nothing nice to say. To be patient always, whenever I encounter something that wasn't very nice to me . 4. To take responsibilities more seriously, and not giving up on any opportunities if I was given the chance. To ensure that I do things diligently and wholeheartedly, with sincerity always.  5. To be grateful always, to say alhamdulillah ( praise to Allah ) more often.. and avoid any habits of complaining...
